This year "Structural Membranes 2009" will be held at the Institute of Statics and Dynamics of Aerospace Structures (ISD), University of Stuttgart. The biannual congress, aims to collect and disseminate state-of-the art research and technology for the design, analysis, construction and maintenance of textile composites and inflatable structures.

This is one of the thematic conferences of "European Community on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences" (ECCOMAS) and is the forum of referrence for the most significant advances and future research directions in the field of inflatable structures and textile composites.
